PAPER BAGS - LAST WEEKS FAVOURITE OBESSION

I love paper bags, I use them for everything....
Birthday favour / favors, Halloween boo / trick or treat bags
Lunch bags, take them to the movies,

I use the lunch bags from Home Bargains 12 for 89p.
Also I love the striped sweetie bags tied with divine twine,
and print straight from my printer onto plain white and brown paper bags.

I print on them, embellish them, stamp on them and even emboss them.

HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN PARTY 2010 PHOTO'S

I completely forgot to post our pics from our party,
so here they are.....
Treat bags labels from.....

I used ..... cupcake picks on the black paper cup and on the straws.

Everyone busy carving.

Everyone trying to unscramble the letters of the treasure trail to find their treat bags.

Boys being boys and getting rather competitive about who can bob for apples the quickest! LOL

Will post some more soon

THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving or Turkey Day celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November in the US.
Sadly not in the UK, It's just a normal working day.

Although we do have our own Thanksgiving tradition, as I lived in New Jersey for three fabulous years, and it rubbed off on me.

Not the whole big family turkey dinner like in the US
but I get Liam to write down in some way what he is thankful for, and I do the same.

One year in was on white A4 card used as placemats,

another we made a a card leaf wreath and wrote on the leaves.

The first year we just said one thing we were thankful for.

It's only alittle thing but it does help realise what we do have and to be greatful for itwhich I think is a good thing in these times

Have fun with your family!!!

TOOTH FAIRY FAMILY TRADITION shhh don't let the kids see this post!!!

When Liam looses a tooth and places it under his pillow at bedtime.

As you know the tooth fairy comes along and takes it away and leaves a coin in it's place.

The tooth fairy is a messy little thing and leaves fairy dust (glitter type dust!) all the way from the door or window she happened to come in from to all the way under his pillow.

When he was younger he had great fun following the fairy dust trail round the house.

Messy little fairy, I wish the clean up fairy would visit the next day mind!!!

Let me know what you think!!!
