Poppy Day Felt Brooch DIY

 

I always wear a Poppy with pride...

 

 

 

but alwaysI like something a little bit different, so this year I made large felt Poppies...

 

it was just four circles and a leaf shape...

x1 black circle 1"

x1 small red circle 1.5"

x2 large red circles 2"

the leaf shape is sewn between the two large red circles

(I added some simple stitches to add a little detail to the leaf)

 

I hand stitched the black circle to the small red and one large circle together altogether,

placed the leaf between the two large circles and stitched them together

and added a brooch pin the the back.

 

but don't forget to pop something in the charity box still!
